In conjunction with the United Nations International Anti-Corruption Day 2012, Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) organised a Public Walk Against Corruption at Perdana Lake Gardens on Sunday 9 December.
The walk was a peaceful, non political event aimed at affirming public support in fighting corruption across all sectors of society. Approximately 230 people participated in the walk which covered a distance of 2.5km. Participants also signed personalised messages on a canvas expressing their wishes and hopes in the fight against corruption.
The event was organised in collaboration with NKRA Against Corruption, a federal agency which monitors and coordinates the government’s anti corruption initiatives.
