PRESS STATEMENT, 14 March 2015, KUALA LUMPUR. Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) is pleased to announce the 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) election results. The new Exco line-up whom will serve a two-year term (2105 – 2017) as follows :-

TI-M would like to extend its deepest appreciation for the work, support and strong commitment shown by the previous serving Executive Committee members over the last two years.
As a new Executive Committee, we will continue to strive for a better nation and broaden our anti-corruption initiatives and stakeholder engagement. 2015 is a significant year for Malaysia as whole, as the country assumes ASEAN Chairmanship. The time is more crucial than ever for an anti-corruption programme to be included as one of the top priorities at the regional level during the summit. Malaysia will also be hosting the largest international anti-corruption conference in 2015. TI-M, Transparency International and the Malaysian Government will host the 16th International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) in September 2015. The IACC is the world’s premier global forum which brings together heads of state, civil society, the private sector. It serves as a platform for advocacy and a forum for the creation of new coalitions, information exchange, cross fertilisation of work and to influence the international governance agenda.
On a national level, TI-M will continue to advocate for improved policy reform to tackle corruption. And, focus on strengthening the collaboration between people and institutions to increase accountability and empower citizens through their engagement.
TI-M will continue to focus on pursuing partnerships with key stakeholders and playing our part in strengthening and broadening our collaboration to focus on our eventful target to have a corruption-free Malaysia.
