On 13 June 2024, Transparency International Malaysia organized a book launch event for "The Sin of Corruption: A Religious Perspective" at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC). The event, attended by 115 participants, was inaugurated by the Honorable Tan Sri Azam Baki, Chief Commissioner of MACC.
This book explores the view of corruption as a sin across six different religions: Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism, and Taoism. It took two years for the authors, editors, and production team to complete this work, and it is now finally launched.
Here is the short video on the book where we display the respected Authors, Editors, Production Team and other parties involved who had worked tirelessly in the book production processes.
TI-Malaysia extends immense gratitude to everyone who contributed to the production of the book and to those who attended the event and offered invaluable support. TI-Malaysia is deeply grateful for the ongoing support and hopes that this book will educate the general public on the serious view of corruption in all religions and the urgent need for its eradication.
