One of our valued corporate members, the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS), joined forces with Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) to host a Mini Integrity Convention on November 5, 2024. Attendees included TI-M corporate members, PKNS subsidiaries, and employees. It was a privilege to have Tan Sri Hj Abu Kassim to deliver an impactful short lecture on "Integrity and Conflict of Interest."
In line with PKNS's belief that "Honesty builds Integrity", the second session featured a panel discussion on Conflict of Interest chaired by Ms Eulis Rachmatiah Iskandar, TI-M's Exco Member. Ms. Hajah Nurhayati Dato Nordin (CEO, Rasuah Busters), Mr. Mohd Rais Ramli (Director, Business Sector Integrity Centre, Institut Integriti Malaysia (IIM), and PKPj Tuan Zulhairy Zaidel (Head of the Governance Investigation Branch, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, MACC) were among the prominent panellists. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to these speakers for so generously sharing their extensive and professional expertise on how Conflict of Interest arise, the root cause of COI, how it can be managed with reference to past cases and more! It was certainly an enlightening discussion!
