A conference on the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) was held on 19 April at the Grand Dorsett Hotel, Subang. Air Commodore (Retd) Alan Waldron and Tobias Bock, two members of the TI Defence and Security Programme (DSP) team based in London were guest speakers for the conference. Other speakers included Donal Fariz from Indonesian Corruption Watch and Cesar H. Villanuev Pax Christi Pilipinas from the University of St. La Salle, Philippines.
The conference saw various topics related to transparency in the defence sector presented. Among the topics discussed were:

-“Amazingly Armed Asia: ATT an Idea Whose Time Has Come Now for the ASEAN!”, Cesar H. Villanuev Pax Christi Pilipinas, University of St. La Salle.
A total of 90 participants representing government organisations, foreign missions, private sector and civil society as well as TI-M members attended.
